Our returns and exchange policy

Dominic Dufour Jewelers wants you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. We encourage you to review our returns and exchange policy before purchasing our products online.

Inspection of your package upon delivery

When your package arrives, you should inspect it for damage. Only sign for the package if you determine it is in good condition, as your signature both confirms delivery and verifies that the package was delivered in good condition. Once you sign for your package, any damage incurred in transit is no longer covered by our returns and exchange policy.

Returning a product damaged in transit

When your package is delivered, if you have any reason to believe it might have been damaged in transit, refuse the delivery and inform the courier of the reason. Within 24 hours of refusing the delivery, contact us at +1 (450) 818-0119 or at [email protected]. This ensures that Dominic Dufour Jewelers will complete a thorough inspection of the product upon its return to us. If no damage is discovered, we will send the product back to you in new packaging at no additional charge. If the product is determined to have incurred damage in transit, we will ship you a replacement at no additional charge.

The product you received is not the one you ordered

If the product you receive is not the one you ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery; from this point, you have 15 days to mail the product back to us. We will exchange the product for the correct one, reimburse you for the initial delivery charges, and pay for any additional delivery charges related to the exchange, so long as the following conditions are satisfied :

The product must be returned with proof of purchase, in its original packaging and in the same condition in which is was delivered. Dominic Dufour Jewelers reserves the right to refuse any exchange if one or more of these conditions is not satisfied.

The product you received is defective

If the product you ordered is defective, please return it to us in its original packaging and in the same condition in which is was delivered, including all components, accessories, and accompanying documentation. Within 24 hours of delivery, contact us at +1 (450) 818-0119 or at [email protected] to notify us that your product is defective. Upon notifying us, you will receive return instructions, including a return authorization code and a prepaid shipping label. You have 15 days from the date of delivery to mail the product back to us. Please note that return authorization codes are only valid for 14 days following the date of issue. It is your responsibility to ensure that we receive your package before the expiration of the return authorization code; once the code has expired, your return will be refused.

IMPORTANT : Any package returned to Dominic Dufour Jewelers without a valid and legible corresponding return authorization code will be refused. Without a valid authorization code, you will be responsible for return shipping charges and, as applicable, exchange shipping charges.

Dominic Dufour Jewelers reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange if one or more of the above conditions is not satisfied, or if we determine the product is not in fact defective. In this situation, a refund will not be issued, and you will be responsible for all return and redelivery shipping charges.

If the product is determined to be defective as a result of abnormal or abusive use of the product, Dominic Dufour Jewelers will refuse the return and will not issue a refund. However, with your permission and at your expense, Dominic Dufour Jewelers will repair the product and return it to you. Before the product can be redelivered, you will need to pay all repair costs and all return and redelivery shipping charges.

15 day customer satisfaction guarantee (online purchases only)

Within 15 days following delivery of your online purchase, if you are not completely satisfied, you are eligible for a reimbursement or exchange, subject to the following conditions.

For rings : to ensure you select the correct size, first order a plastic ring sizer, available on our website. When you buy your ring, you will receive a $10 credit for the ring sizer. You are responsible for providing the correct ring size on your order.

If you provide us an incorrect ring size, you will be charged a fee to adjust the ring to the correct size. Please allow for a 2 week turnaround from the date we receive your ring for all ring size adjustments.

Custom and altered jewelry (resized, engraved, etc.) is not eligible for return or exchange.

If you are not satisfied with your product, contact us within 15 days of delivery at +1 (450) 818-0119 or at [email protected] and let us know that you would like to take advantage of our satisfaction guarantee. Upon notification, we will send you the appropriate return instructions. It is your responsibility to make sure we receive the return within 15 days, beyond which all returns will be refused.

In addition to the above-stated conditions, the product must be returned in its original packaging and in the same condition in which it was delivered.

If all conditions of the satisfaction guarantee are satisfied, Dominic Dufour Jewelers will grant you an exchange or return (excluding shipping fees) and will pay the shipping fees for an exchange.

If all conditions of the satisfaction guarantee are not satisfied, Dominic Dufour Jewelers reserves the right to refuse the return. You will be responsible for any return fees incurred, as well as redelivery fees to return the product back to you.

No returns will be accepted if Dominic Dufour Jewelers has not been notified, within 15 days of delivery, of your intention to return the product within the scope of our satisfaction guarantee. The 15 day satisfaction guarantee includes weekends and is calculated from the date your package is confirmed as delivered.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These general conditions of purchase are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec, Canada and are interpreted according to these laws. Regardless of your location when you purchase from any Dominic Dufour Jewelers website, you agree that only the courts in the judicial district of Terrebonne, in which the company is domiciled, have jurisdiction to hear any claim, based on any of the provisions of these general conditions of purchase, in whole or in part and directly or indirectly.

Dominic Dufour is an artisan who offers, on line, jewelry of his own creation.

His jewelry and products are available for sale in Quebec, Canada, the United States, and Europe, through his website.

We guarantee the quality of our products and your satisfaction.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can exchange your purchase for an item of the same value, or you can return your purchase, subject to restrictions (see the 15 day satisfaction guarantee above).

Online purchases are subject to these general conditions that establish the rights and obligations of Dominic Dufour Jeweler and of the customer. The customer acknowledges having read and accepted the general conditions of purchase before making online purchases from Dominic Dufour Jewelers. The general conditions of purchase enter into force at the moment the customer places his or her order.

These general conditions only apply to purchases made online and do not replace in any fashion the conditions of all other purchases that have been completed with Dominic Dufour Jewelers.


The prices listed on the Dominic Dufour Jewelers website are only valid for online purchases. Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and do not include taxes or duties . They are valid at the moment of purchase. They can be changed without notice.

The customer can occasionally take advantage of discounts or promotional offers. These discounts or promotions are advertised on the Dominic Dufour Jewelers website and are only valid for the period indicated and as supplies last. Not included in prices : sales taxes and shipping charges.


You can pay for your purchase by direct funds transfer or by Visa or MasterCard, through our Stripe secured checkout.

An authorization by your card issuer or online payment provider is required upon purchase. Without such an authorization, Dominic Dufour Jewelers reserves the right to cancel the sale without prior notice.

Any error in ring size or chain length is the sole responsibility of the customer. Once Dominic Dufour Jewelers has confirmed your order by e-mail, it is no longer possible to cancel the order. However, if you need to make changes to your order, you must do so immediately by sending an e-mail to [email protected] and specifying the changes.

In the event that a product is sold out, Dominic Dufour Jewelers’ client service will contact you to arrange accomodations, as necessary, to ensure that your order arrives as quickly as possible.


All orders are delivered to the address provided at checkout.

For orders shipped to Canada, delivery is free. Outside of Canada, the following charges will apply: US shipments of $ 25 will be charged. For all other destinations, a $ 40 fee will apply. The cost of customs clearance, brokerage fees or taxes other than GST / QST are at the customer's expense.

No orders will be delivered to a post office box, remote region, or a location with restricted access.

Orders are sent via Canada Post. Your order confirmation includes important information about the delivery of your product, including the tracking number as well as the estimated delivery time. Shipping usually takes 15 business days from the date of payment. Orders received after 2 P.M. Eastern Standard Time will be processed the following day. Dominic Dufour Jewelers cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the courrier. For all orders of $100 or more before taxes, you will receive a tracking number. For orders of $200 or more, an adult signature is required upon delivery (Canada only).

It is your responsibility to ensure you are present to receive the delivery of your order. If your are not at home at the time of delivery, the courrier will leave your package at the nearest post office.

To the extent it is possible, shipping fees will be indicated in your shopping cart before you place your order.
